outing~ "Cheena-look?"
Today went to orchard with fiona and wanting... bought my formal shoes... ^_^ i need to buy more stuffs:
- 1 flat pumps/shoes
- 1 more pair of formal shoes
- at least 1 more formal shirt
- 2 formal skirts
- more tees? and some hoodies~!
soo many things i wanna buy!!! the formal stuffs are for attachment...
i don't know if the company i'm being posted to will need to wear formal everyday... but, it's just a estimate of the clothes i'll need if i really do need formal wear everyday.
i dread attachment really.... i rather be studying than to work. i'm afraid that i can't fit into the working environment and u noe, office work is horribly boring... and the people there.. u would'nt know if they are good or those back-stabbing gossip kind... *sigh~*
anyway, i'm really glad the exams are over!!!! during those days of waiting for the last paper to end was really very torturing... whee~ i'm going to enjoy life to the fullest these few days before the sufferings of internship begin.. >_<
btw, today smth really annoying happened. me and fiona were looking around at those clothes shop at tamp interchange and there's this sales assistant who said she thot we were Cheenas.. i don't know how to react.. me and fiona just stared at each other... don't know to cry or laugh... i was like "WTH. CHEENA AGAIN. I don't look like cheena ok?!!!!"
we just dressed up a little nicer than those passer-bys or the majority in Singapore.. and she thot we were 'them'. GOSH. 'They' really created a somewhat stereotype that all those people who looked fairer, and dressed up nicer are Cheenas. I've already tried to avoid wearing some clothes that i have that will make people have a misconception, yet even when i thot i looked fashionable or somewhat better-dressed than usual, people still think that way. Isit my fashion sense or that the impact of foreigners in S'pore is getting greater???
OMG. Maybe we should just wear flip-flops, tshirts and shorts out next time...
