Hello! I've got an announcement to make! A good one!
I've got a job!
The shocking and great news came yesterday when I received a phone call telling me I've been selected for the job. I expected myself to be overjoyed, to be really really excited but came feeling nothing much. Maybe I kinda expected it that's why... well I've been practicing The Secret.
But one thing I know is that I'm really grateful for the whole thing, from getting a chance for an interview, being considered for this job, and till the time I finally got this job. Like I'm so grateful to the interviewers wanting to interview me because I don't have work experience in this field, but they are still willing to consider me for this role and interview me. Every chance I've got to possibly land myself a job, I'm grateful to it.
Anyway, this job I've got is a six months contract job, although it's only six months, not known yet whether it'll be converted to perm or extended, at least it could tide me through the year end, where full-time employment could be lesser especially when companies prefer to hire temp staffs to help in some year end projects, which means, I think it'll be even harder for me to get a full-time job. Whether I need to find a new job after that six months or will be able to continue to stay there, I'll think about it when the time comes. I will just appreciate the current job I've just found and do really well in it.
I'm so glad what I wanted came true. Not only for getting a job, even minor things like wanting to get a book... I know I'm kinda a Rhonda Byrne huge fan here... One of my wishes was to get all of Rhonda Byrne's books. I've got two of them already in e-book form, so left one book which I didn't have. So this was what happened, I was passing by the expo halls after walking around at the Robinsons sale at expo, and chanced upon the MPH books sale there! It was the first few days of the sale and despite being really hungry and wanting to grab a bite so badly, I was interested to see what books they have so I went in to look around. In my mind, I was hoping there would be some Rhonda Byrne books around... after looking through for quite awhile, much to my amazement, I found it! The Rhonda Byrne book which I really really wanted! There were not only one, but so many of that book around at the sale and it was selling at a very huge slash-off price of $10! I grabbed that book immediately once I saw it. And in my mind, of course, I didn't forget to give thanks to having found what I want.
Many things changed after I've read Rhonda Byrne books... I mean in terms of thinking, perspective on things and life... I'm so glad that Rhonda Byrne wrote those books and allowed everyone to know of it.
Ok... so much of me blabbering on and on about my craze for the author and the books....
Wish me luck in my new job! I'm starting my first proper job ever since graduation on Monday!
